In Josipdol there is a forest educational trail Kapelvald, which has been open since 1993. The trail is named after the hill on which the church of Sv. Joseph. It starts at the orientation board at the linden tree avenue. The path continues past the church to Lenarčič's manor and the nursery all the way to Štruč's homestead.

After a long ascent, the path returns on the other side past the pier - the quarry back to Josipdol. There are various tree species in the nursery: Atlas and Lebanese cedar, redwood, red beech, cypress, yellow pine, Pančič spruce, mariana spruce, red oak, silver spruce, yew, black walnut, giant fir, 350-year-old Loaf chestnut with a volume of 760 cm and all indigenous tree and shrub species.

The route covers mainly all natural resources, from nurseries, animals, glassmaking to stonemasonry.

The trail is 3200 meters long. It rises slightly in certain parts, but it is also easy for children to cross, so it is suitable for visitors of all ages.
